About the Progress Club

CPC Halifax Citadel members are committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community in which we live, most notably for women and children. In the spring we host a Girl’s Night Out event and, in the fall, we host a Charity Golf Tournament.  We also hold smaller fundraisers such as Spirit Survivors, Social fundraising nights and holiday individual giving throughout the year to help with our fundraising efforts. Each year we conduct a charitable selection where we select one charity to benefit from each of our special events and several other charities to receive the funds from our additional fundraising efforts – including the CPC Halifax Citadel Award.

Community Service is also a large part of what we do. With hundreds of hours per year in volunteer work by our members we contribute to a variety of organizations. You might find our members volunteering at Special Olympics events, helping to feed the hungry at church dinners, singing Christmas carols to the Veterans, cooking or baking with Phoenix Youth, or filling Christmas stockings for those in need.
